Verruca vulgaris is a common wart.It is a benign lesion which is most commonly present in childhood over skin and mucous membrane caused by Human Papilloma Virus.These lesions are firm, elevated,selflimited and most commonly present over fingers.Oral lesions are relatively less especially over tongue is extremely rare.This is a case report of a rare casepresent a lesion over the lateral border of tongue which was histopathologically diagnosed case of verruca vulgaris of tongue occurring in a 35 years old male patient without any wart like lesion over the body. Lesion are diagnosed by histopathologically and treated by complete surgical excision of the lesion.
